The Feast we break our fast with on retreat has been specifically chosen and researched to bring you the greatest healing cell deep. 

We choose only organic fruits and vegetables from one of Australia’s oldest organic farms – Freeman’s Farm – food grown locally with great care from rich alluvial soil on ancient Tomewin Mountain on the Gold Coast/NSW border. 

Added in are gut healing tonics – kombucha, freshly made cold pressed green juices and golden Turmeric elixir to repopulate the gut post fast with healthy anti inflammatory agents and good gut bugs! 

The food is delicious but more than that -ignites the body into a profound healing, post fast!

Two of the key elements to health and healing over the weekend include:

Turmeric. Known worldwide for it’s proven health benefits.

Ginger Is not just to put on your sushi. It has been a historical healer for thousands of years. It is still used in Western and traditional medicines today. Health benefits of ginger include 

Ginger is high in gingerol, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Just 1–1.5 grams of ginger can help prevent various types of nausea, including chemotherapy-related nausea, nausea after surgery, and morning sickness.

According to studies in animals and humans, ginger may help improve weight-related measurements. These include body weight and the waist-hip ratio.

Ginger has been shown to lower blood sugar levels and improve various heart disease risk factors in people with type 2 diabetes.
